Dear Crisis Nursery Supporters!
Nothing is more important than the safety of the children and families we serve, as well as our hardworking staff. COVID-19 has meant some big changes to our programs in a short period of time.
The Crisis Nursery remains open with some changes to our service, as it would be unsafe to admit children with cold or flu symptoms. We are doing our best to keep our service open to families in crisis throughout the pandemic.
With that in mind, we want to reduce the number of kids coming through our doors in order to comply with social distancing, which means we are turning down non-emergency requests for support.
We are not allowing visitors in the building at this time, and we have stopped taking used donations for at least a month.
Staff off on quarantine has increased our costs to continue to operate safely. You can help us by donating to the Crisis Nursery here.
The only items we are accepting as donations right now are bleach, disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer. You can leave these items beside our building if you have any to donate. We have enough for now!
I know that by reading this, you have taken the time to think about the impact of COVID-19 on folks in our community who are at greater risk. Thank you.
That is the love we need to share right now to get through this challenging time. Thank you for being our village.

The Parent Aide Program is fully funded through the Ministry of Social Services. Alternatively, the Crisis Nursery is only partially funded by the Ministry of Social Services.
As such, the Crisis Nursery relies on community donations and fundraising activities to help fund the 24/7, 365 day Crisis Nursery Program.
